1 hour stands between you and all the answers.
I offer a limited amount of individual 1:1 sessions. Although these are usually for clients prepping for an audition or self-tape, professional actors can book a 1:1 for General American coaching to solidify the accent in advance. The 1:1 is run as if you do have an upcoming audition in order to give you industry-standard preparation.
Together we select a text & you have the ability to sit with the text in advance of the 1:1. During the 1:1 we work to bring the accent and your voice onto the text. You receive coaching and feedback bespoke to you. Most importantly, there is a focus on bridging the accent into performance for a fully realized, authentic sound.
These sessions can be recorded and sent to you at the end of the hour.
About Rebecca
Born & Raised in the United States, Rebecca Gausnell is a London-based Voice & Accent coach who passionately strives to help actors in the area of Film & TV.
Credited professionally in both film & theatre, her clients include Emmy, SAG, and BAFTA nominees such as Zawe Ashton, Orlando Bloom, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Johnny Flynn, Jerome Flynn, Kit Harington, Ruthie Henshall, Thomas Krestchmann, Noomi Rapace, Noah Schnapp, Ed Skrein and on projects for Paramount Pictures, BBC, Apple, Amazon, ITV, Disney, and Netflix.
She has also worked in institutions such as the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and The Second City in Chicago.
While receiving her Masters of Fine Arts at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Rebecca had the amazing opportunity to study with Cicely Berry, Kristin Linklater, Barbara Houseman, and David Carey. From there she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from Northwestern University, where she studied under Linda Gates.
When not on set or in the rehearsal room, Rebecca works privately with creatives to help master the emotional and technical integration of Acting into Dialect work.
Her coaching of actors on set & in the Rehearsal room has taken her from the US to the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia & the Czech Republic. Along with being an expert in the many accents of North America, Rebecca regularly uses her fluency in French and deep understanding of the world’s languages to bring out the best in those she teaches.

Our classes are carried out using Zoom so you need to make sure you computer is Zoom compatible and tested- (Voice-Video). Please make sure you have a good fixed internet connection.
All zoom’s are recorded for quality control. If any student misses a class, we will give them a private link to access.
